Since opening in 2006, The Karen Hospital has provided comprehensive medical and surgical services. The hospital was the first to host a Live Cardiac workshop which saw cardiologists from the East Central African region attend and were the first to conduct the first CABG on a beating heart in East Africa. The theatre at The Karen Hospital has gained national recognition and was voted the best theatre in Kenya in 2009.The Karen Hospital is a multi-specialty healthcare provider providing emergency and critical care, acute medical and surgical services ,diagnostics, rehabilitation, mental health, palliative care as well as undertaking research and educating the next generation of healthcare professionals. We have more than 400 staff, 3 operation theatres catering to over 26 specialties and 102 beds.
