The French School in Nairobi was founded in 1962 to provide children of Francophone parents quality education in French. It was originally located in the area of Westlands, then was moved in 1972 to its current site in Kilimani. It was renamed 'College Denis Diderot' in 1989 and 'High School Denis Diderot' in 1995.
