The International School of Kenya began in 1967 with just 15 students studying in a house near Nairobi Hospital. Today, ISK has over 850 students from over 65 countries. Currently, about 60 percent of our graduates complete the IB diploma, and many of our students go on to study at some of the most prestigious colleges and universities in the world. Along with the original stone buildings, ISK's facilities have expanded to over 30 buildings, athletic fields, a solar-heated swimming pool, outdoor track, playgrounds, a 25,000-volume library, 550-seat auditorium, and an environmental learning garden that still has coffee plants from the original farm.
