Upper Hill is located approximately 4 Kilometers, west of the city’s central business district. It is has, at a very fast rate, grown to be a hub of business in the city, with many office buildings being set up in this location. Historically, it was predominantly an upper middle class and high class area of residence. The locale is serene and secure with a good infrastructure in place. Buildings being set up in this locale are more of office and commercial type, with many companies opting to set up their Headquarters in this location. There are fewer residential houses as compared to other suburbs in Nairobi which go for a high buying price and rental charges.
